Why can’t they run free?

On this earth when a humans acts in a wrong way they are sent to prison. So by saying this, why are animals caged up and forced to have a life where they cannot control what they want to do. Many people say the purpose of zoos, aquariums and circus is to proved endangered animals with a home and a place to reproduce, but is this what it is being used for? Also should is it a fact that even when born in captivity is it still in there nature to be wild. How will animals learn how to survive in the wild if they were born into captivity? Every year, wild animals in captivity act in a wild way and end up hurting humans. For example on October 3, 2003 Siegfried and Roy at the mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada was involved in an accident. Roy Horn was bitten on the neck by a 7-year-old male Bengal tiger named Mantecore. In Roy Horn interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET) said the truth was that he passed out with a stroke and the tiger picked him up by his neck to bring him to safety. This can show you that even though the tiger is seen as a “tamed” animal, that he still has ways of a wild animal. As played out it can be seen that if he was in the wild with cubs and danger was to arise, he would pick his cubs up and rush they to safety. Also even though the tiger was trying to help the doctor told Mr. Roy that if the tiger did not let go of his neck he could have been brain dead and passed away.
