Iraq has always been a reoccurring problem for the United States of America. A recent incident that is causing questions to the American people is a group by the name of ISIS. ISIS is also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria which they claim to be a muslim group. Their actions are not very kind but yet very brutal against all humanity. ISIS is known for doing outrageous actions, such as beheading. America needs to prevent this group from growing and continuing to do harmful things to innocent people, some in which were our own people. Iraq became a big issue for America in the 20th century when the United States and their allies came to a conclusion that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction that posed a threat to their security. At this time, President Bush demanded that Saddam Hussein and his sons Uday and Qusay surrender within a 48 hour time limit. Saddam Hussein was currently the President of Iraq at this time and was connected to funding terrorist groups. Saddam Hussein and his sons did not surrender within the 48 hour time limit. At this time, President Bush proceeded and ordered the airstrikes to start the bombings in Baghdad on March 19, 2003. As the months went on the war continued as well, many Americans lost their lives during this war searching for Saddam Hussein. In July 2003, Uday and Qusay were killed during a battle with United States forces. Finally, in December 2003 Saddam Hussein was captured. He was found hiding in an eight foot hole with two…
