To align with the value discipline, customer intimacy, Aramark will work with Gallup Corporation to develop client surveys that will be performed annually. In addition, Gallup Corporation will personally interview many larger or national clients to gain perspective on current relationships and additional service opportunities. The company will also adopt Higher Education’s “Thrive” client alignment process for each division. “Thrive” has proved very successful in Higher Education while driving retention efforts and expanding service to existing accounts. Most recently Aramark expanded their relationship with the Chicago City School Districts dining program with the addition of facility services. This expanded partnership is worth over $50 million annually in top line sales. Aramark will continue to improve their employee appreciation program “Encore Encore;” to allow for peer to peer recognition at all levels in the company, in conjunction with the current supervisor to subordinate recognition. The current management incentive bonus program will be adjusted to align with retention and expansion initiatives, including proactive contract extension and service expansion to existing clients.

To grow the business to $20 billion in annual sales, and increase the current margins, Aramark will need to implement several action items. To begin, Aramark will need to expand and increase the velocity of the Kronos time management system deployment. The $100 million in net gains…
