On September 11, 2012 a group of Muslim terrorists marched into an American embassy outpost in Libya, Benghazi. Chris Stevens the United States Ambassador to Libya, along with three other Americans, died that night. It all started when about 150 members of Ansar al-Shariah, an Islamist militia, isolated the Ambassador’s compound and tried to get in using machine guns that were mounted on trucks. They were looking for Chris Stevens and Sean Smith. However, they were unsuccessful because they were in a caged safe room inside of Chris Stevens’ villa, so they set the villa on fire and left for the CIA annex a few miles from the compound. The fire killed everyone that was in the building, although Chris Stevens was still breathing when locals pulled him out, he died later in the hospital. A few hours after the militia got to the annex they set off a mortar killing former Navy Seals Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods. Finally, according to the CIA timeline, “Libyan forces from the military intelligence service finally arrive, now with 50 vehicles.
