This study will attempt to investigate the knowledge and attitudes of class eight pupils towards HIV/AIDs in four primary schools in Mathira East: Karura, Ragati, Karatina D.E.B and Kirigu Primary Schools. This study will enable policymakers to develop policies and strategies to assist primary school pupils to overcome stigma and negative attitudes towards people living with HIV/AIDs. The proposed study will utilize a survey design to collected primary data. Structured questionnaires containing questions on knowledge about AIDS, attitudes and beliefs towards people living with HIV/AIDS will be administered to achieve the objectives of the study. Primary data will also be collected using focus group discussions and key informant interviews
