Lunch is available at the cafeteria located on the 1st floor; * Those bringing their own lunch may utilize the student lounge adjacent to the cafeteria or weather permitting, the picnic tables outside the east entrance; * Designated smoking area is located at the north side of the building near the gazebo. Participants are to ensure they utilize but-cans provided. * Establish ground rules: Respect each other, do not interrupt or criticize others and remain open to difference of experience and opinions.

HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING SESSION
In today’s workplace, the emphasis on health and safety is of the utmost importance. Both employees and employers need relentless commitment to ourselves, our coworkers and our community. Through today’s training session, we hope to guide you through various learning objectives as identified by Summit Appliances Inc. We will take a closer look at the benefits as well as the elements of an effective Health and Safety Program. As well we will discuss the legal obligations that we all have to Health and Safety. Summit Appliance Inc. has instituted a plan of action designed to prevent accident and incidents as well as occupational diseases under the company Health and Safety policies. In order to make the program a success, employees need to be able to prevent and control workplace hazards, conduct effective safety briefings, and report violations.
