Nature versus nurture is a psychological term in which nature is inherited or genetic and nurture refers to all environmental influences. Today we know that, our nature (our genes) and the nurture (the environment) together has made us indiviuals (AMNH). We are the result of subtle "cooperation" of genes and the environment, but we have not known yet whether we are developed majority because of nature or due to nurture (AMNH). It has been well known that certain physical charistics are all determined by our genetic inheritance. Color of eye, straight or curly hair, pigmentation of the skin, blood type, vulnerablity of specific illness or certain deseases are all a function of the genes we inherit (quick psychology). Other physical charactistics, such as behavorial tendencies, physical attribute 's and mental abilities are strongly influenced by the genes passed down from our biological parents. There is an interaction between the environment and the inherited genes in an individuals development. The nature versus nurture theory suggests that, nature endows human beings with inborn abilities and traits and nurture take these genetic tendencies and molds them as we learn and mature (Uk Essays).
