The middle class. It’s exactly how it sounds. The middle of the socio economic ladder and what a majority of the United States working class is located. This class is what shaped me into the man I have become and continuing to grow as today. The middle class lifestyle affected me in ways such as I wasn’t able to be with my mom and dad as much, we had just enough to get what we needed, and it laid the ground work for the work ethic that I have now and continue to build on today. Growing up with two working parents definitely had an effect on me growing up. They did as best they could to be home at decent times and the time we did spend together was great because they put in the time and effort to make it great. My mom was and still is an elementary school teacher, so until I started school as a kindergartener she would take me to a sitter for the day. I would spend almost all day, every day there until my mom, or sometimes dad, would get off work and come pick me up. My dad worked weird hours, seeing as he practiced law and the firm where he worked would often change their hours depending on how much work there was to be done. Most of the time he wouldn’t be home until 8 o’clock at night, but by that time I would heading off to bed or already asleep, so I would rarely see him unless it was on the weekends or rare occasions where he would come pick me up. A few times I would stay home, but it would be my grandma that would watch me until mom came home. As a kid, I didn’t…
