Louie Gohmert is an American politician and is a current Republican U.S.Representative from Texas’s First congressional District which includes over 12 counties and stretching nearly 120 miles down the states eastern border. Louie Gohmert was born in August 18, 1953 Pittsburgh, Texas.
Louie Gohmert has been doing tremendous job and has been constantly developing new ideas to increase an uplift the economy not only that but he has also been offering practical alternative to the government’s bailout frenzy. Louie Gohmert was recently named Vice Chair of the Judiciary subcommittee on crime, terrorism and Homeland security due to his excellent past experiences and great knowledge in the court room. Louie Gohmert also serves in many of the House committees and subcommittees like subcommittee on the constitution and civil justice, subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security and Investigation, subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources and also serves on Public Lands and Environmental Regulation. Before coming to the political field he was elected for three consecutive years as the District judge in the smith county, Texas, and later appointed as Chief Justice of the 12th Court of Appeals by the Texas Governor Rick Perry.
