I believe many gateways can be opened with the solution to this main problem: How do we successfully reverse engineer the human brain? This is our core processing center, where all human function and ability occurs from. If we can reverse engineer it that means there will be a complete knowledge on how to translate that fact to better understanding different aspects of life and our actions. Have you ever wanted to know how a personality develops or what happens to the body on a microscopic level when you are doing something like typing a paper? By getting on the inside of the brain we can know these answers and so much more.

The ability to use our brain as an asset would be a life changing application of a tool that today gets overlooked. Applications of such technology are beginning to surface. “Artificial intelligence” and “Neural prostheses” have evolved from brain reverse-engineering testing. AI algorithms are applied heavily in speech recognition and machine vision systems in automated factories. The software had the potential to impact human health and also allowing us to repair the broken spots. This could translate to decreasing memory loss and increase the ability to learn in those that can’t. “With the proper signaling patterns in healthy brains, engineers have begun to design computer chips that mimic the brain’s own communication skills (Berger).” These chips could be used to replace what has gone missing, reconnecting the brain to full working ability.…
