Google is the leading search engine used by millions of internet users all over the world. The organization started with a search engine in 1996. The organization’s mission is to “Organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful”. Since the company started, the world has evolved tremendously. Over the past twenty years, society has become reliant on the accessibility of information on the internet. The demographic of internet users has advanced since the beginning of the new millennium. Customers have the option of going directly to a website or utilizing a search engine such as Google. In order to be the leading search engine, the site must provide accurate and useful results to customers seeking information. Social networks are another source of information for web users. Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites offer search options to account holders. Consumers have a variety of tools available to retrieve information. Google must now compete with software companies and cell phone applications that offer extended features including search options. The company is no longer the only source for obtaining information. Laws governing the use of information online are of importance to companies providing information online. The company must comply with existing laws and abide by any news law governing the use of information on the internet. Over 4 million businesses around the world use Google Enterprise solutions to collaborate and communication. This partner program offers enterprise integration, solution customization, complementary products, and training. Google’s partners who consists of system integrators, consultants, independent software vendors, VARs and distributors all provide value- added services and solutions that complement and extends the Google Enterprise products (Google, 2011).
Products like the Google App program clouding provide computer applications that customers provide to their users.
