Introduction
The Casey Anthony trial involves the death of her two year old daughter Caylee Anthony. Casey Anthony is accused of killing her daughter. Casey Anthony claims her two-year-old Caylee Anthony is missing On June 9, 2008 in Orange County, Florida. Anthony later tells police she dropped Caylee off at a babysitter's apartment. The name that Casey had given to the police officers was Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. On June 16th 2008 was the last Caylee grandparents saw her alive. Legal defenses
As the trial begins in Orlando Florida, Jose Baez opened up the statements by saying that Casey father George used to molesting her at the age of 8. And then went on to say that Caylee had drowned in her grandparent’s swimming pool on June 16th of 2008 also stating that Casey and George tried to cover up the drowning. When the forensic expert took the stand June 6, 2011 he explained that the stench that was coming from Casey's car trunk is the presence of a decomposing human body. Casey then became ill during the testimony of Caylee remains.
The defense begins presenting its case, Casey never testified. There were a total of seven women and 5 men on the juror. It took a ten hour deliberation to come back and find her not guilty of first degree murder aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child. She was only found guilty of four counts of providing false information. The judge ordered her a year in jail for the fraudulent chargers but she was acquitted on the charges in the connection of her daughter’s death.
Conclusion
On this trail I believe there was enough evidence to charge her with first degree murder and aggravated child abuse. What parent waits to file a missing report on their child until a month later and then when she does file, she had done lied so many times to the
