We have explored so far cases of copyright infringement, intellectual property theft, and organizations dedicated to protecting intellectual property, furthermore lets look into what is currently happening in the intellectual property community. In recent news, The George Washington University Law school and the United States Patent and Trademark Office have announced their Intellectual Property Colloquium. The colloquium will be held in Alexandria, Virginia on February 6th and 7th, 2015 and will cover research and development, and scholarly discussions on the topic of intellectual property. The best way to get support for intellectual property is to raise awareness and by informing people of this we can get support. The United States alone is losing millions of dollars each year to companies in other countries who are duplicating copyrighted ideas. It is alarming how this is not a concern to more Americans and it is a continually growing problem. In China, individual 's rights are sketchy at best and the Chinese government has not been too promising to change this. So the only way we can see change is if Chinese companies will get on board for protecting their ideas and investments.
