The kits were hand-built by Wozniak and first shown to the public at the Homebrew Computer Club. The Apple I was sold as a motherboard (with CPU, RAM, and basic textual-video chips), which is less than what is today considered a complete personal computer. The Apple I went on sale in July 1976 and was market-priced at $666.66 Nearly 35 years later, in September 2011, Apple Inc. reported a total of $108 billion in annual revenues ¡V and nearly $82 billion in cash reserves. (Wikipedia, 2013). This is a company who seems to be creating new products one after another and every one of them being extremely successful.
Apple Inc. (Apple) manufactures and markets mobile communication and media devices, personal computers, and portable digital music players, and sells a range of related software, services, peripherals, networking solutions, and third-party digital content and applications. The Company's products and services include iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod, Apple TV, a portfolio of consumer and professional software applications, the iOS and Mac OS X operating systems, iCloud, and a range of accessory, service and support offerings (Forbes, 2013). As you can see Apple’s main products are cell phones, music players, computers and pads. This being said, you wonder where Apple will go next, a new type of cell phone?
