Abortions are one of the bountiful topics that many people have an assumption on. As characterized by the 2014 Merriam-Webster dictionary, an abortion is, “the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end pregnancy.” Abortions have always been a controversial topic, and will most likely continue to be a topic every person won 't agree on. In the depths of the discussion, two groups have surfaced. These two groups are specified as pro-cull and pro-life. Pro-life advocates demand that life starts at conception, so abortion at any point in the pregnancy is destruction, as reported by Gale Opposing Viewpoints in Context. Pro-life advocates demand that life is beneficial and the life of the expected baby has the same power as the mother. Pro-cull advocates, on the contrary, declare that it 's the women’s power to decide what she does with her own body. Pro-cull advocates believe that pro-life advocates are authentically opposed to liberate cull rather than the termination of the fetus and the rights of women. Pro-life and pro-cull advocates differ in many of their opinions, concretely, concerning when life commences, affects abortions have on the mother, and how politics and religion play a role in abortions.
